The Centre is a shared vision of INDICA and Cultre to revitalise the societal and economic importance of museums in the cultural landscape of India. This Centre aims to facilitate creation of 21st century museums that are flexible, connected and responsive, by working with existing museums as well as developing new museum concepts.


 

The Centre focuses on museum-based research, defining new concepts & roadmaps, museum management strategy, defining visitor experience for the museum, marketing and outreach planning and possible sustainability planning.

Digital Strategy and Outreach

We formulate and implement the Museum’s digital strategy to help improve online and offline audience engagement. This includes 

  1. Content strategy

  2. Multimedia storytelling

  3. Social media strategy

  4. Development/revamp of custom website, mobile app etc

Study and Research

Includes development of Museum Casestudies as well as Research studies round various themes related to the Museum sector

Museum Management and Collection Awareness

Includes inventory and documentation, condition reports and identifying key resources that can be used outreach activities. This also includes design and print material for promotion of the collection

Sustainability Planning

Conceptualising and implementing revenue models focusing on fundraising templates and revenue generation possibilities including merchandising
