CultreBOX

We aim to create tangible products that bridge the understanding of India’s rich culture and heritage to the modern era. With the combined efforts of cultural institutions, historians, master craftsmen, product designers, and Cultre, comes the CultreBOX - all things culture, in a box.

CultreBOX takes a multidisciplinary approach to heritage focusing on technology, material, and process. It presents advanced concepts in an engaging and experiential format.

The first CultreBOX and India’s first archeological excavation simulation kit, the Harappan Archaeology Kit contains replicas of artefacts from the Harappan civilization recreated with the help of artisans using sustainable materials.

  • Educate

The CultreBox engages users to become archeologists for a few hours. Each artefact in the CultreBOX is replicated with the help of craftsmen and through using traditional art forms. Players learn about various aspects of art, art techniques, and heritage as they dig into the past.

  • Play

The fun doesn’t stop after playing with the CultreBOX just once. The mound material can be reused to create a mound for new objects, and continue to pique the curiosity of children young and old!

  • Discover

Not only does the CultreBOX cater to knowledge, but it also helps develop cognitive skills. The artefacts can be restored, used to complete unsolved patterns and puzzles, used to make objects for daily use, or just put on display.

The CultreBOX is an immersive experience, but don’t just take our word for it, find out yourself!
