The campaign received widespread participation, with threads collected from across the country through both online and offline initiatives. As part of the initiative, threads were transformed into yarn, which was then woven by artisans from textile traditions like Sambalpuri, Maheshwari, and Pochampalli ikat to into a 12 x 8 ft Indian Tricolour which was then presented to the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
